You can use the picker without an account. Guest choices and saved titles are stored on your device. If you sign in, we store your email address, optional display name, account authentication details managed by Supabase, saved watchlist, picker decisions, and any title suggestions you submit.
When you contact support, we receive your email address, subject, and message. We use a short-lived verification question and a hashed request fingerprint for spam prevention and rate limiting.
How we use it
We use account information to sign you in and sync your choices across devices. Your picks and saved titles help the app remember what you have seen or skipped. We use support messages to respond to requests and title suggestions to review possible catalog additions.

Service providers
Supabase provides authentication, data storage, and the support form service. Brevo delivers account confirmation and password-reset emails and processes recipient addresses and delivery information for that purpose. OpenAI Sites hosts PlotPlatter web pages. Hosting and authentication providers may process IP addresses, request details, and security logs to deliver and protect these services. The native picker selects from catalog data on the device; it does not send each pick to an AI model.
If you make an in-app purchase, Apple processes payment information. PlotPlatter uses purchase status and transaction information to unlock or restore eligible features; we do not receive your full payment-card details. Sharing a pick uses the destination you choose, whose own privacy practices apply.
Retention and deletion
Account information remains while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account in the iPhone app’s Settings or the PlotPlatter website’s Account settings. If you cannot access your account, use the support form for help. Deletion removes your profile, watchlist, and decision history. A submitted catalog suggestion may remain without a connection to your identity. Support requests are kept as needed to respond and manage abuse.
Your choices and security
You can pick as a guest, remove saved titles, sign out, and ask us to delete your account. We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect information. Guest data stays on your device unless you choose to sign in and sync it.
Children
PlotPlatter is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. Family viewing filters describe entertainment content, not the intended age of an account holder.
