Terms of use

Using PlotPlatter

Effective September 26, 2026

Who we are

PlotPlatter is operated by Foxwood Ventures LLC. These terms describe your use of our app and related web pages. Contact us through our support form. Apple’s standard software license governs your licensed use of the iPhone app. Nothing here removes rights you have under applicable consumer law.

Recommendations, not streaming

PlotPlatter helps you choose movies and TV series and suggests snacks. It does not provide films, episodes, streaming subscriptions, or a right to watch third-party content. Recommendations reflect available catalog information and your choices; enjoyment and suitability are not guaranteed. Release dates, runtimes, ratings, and availability may be incomplete or change. TV runtimes may represent an episode, and content and ratings can vary by episode or season. Check current details with the provider and review content before watching with children. Audience filters are not parental controls.

Recipes and food safety

Snack ideas are general cooking inspiration, not medical, nutritional, or allergy advice. Check labels on every ingredient and substitute, consider individual dietary needs, and prevent allergen cross-contact. Recipes are not certified allergen-free. Follow safe food handling, package instructions, and appropriate cooking and storage guidance. Preparation times are estimates; equipment and portions affect results. Adults should supervise children around heat, knives, and foods that present choking hazards. Do not use an ingredient that is unsafe for anyone being served.

Accounts and acceptable use

Accounts are for people aged 13 or older. Minors need a parent or guardian’s permission. Keep account credentials secure and provide accurate account information. Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, or copy or redistribute content beyond permissions granted by its applicable license. You may use the app’s sharing features for their intended purpose. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security threats, or legal requirements.

Purchases

If paid features are offered, the purchase screen will state the price, included features, and whether the charge is one-time or recurring before purchase. Apple processes iPhone in-app payments under its applicable terms. Use Restore purchases to recover eligible purchases; refund requests are handled through Apple subject to applicable law. A purchase does not include third-party streaming access. No purchase should be understood to promise that a hosted service will operate forever. We will not use these terms to remove statutory remedies or misrepresent the duration or features of an offer.

Content and privacy

Third-party names and works belong to their respective owners. PlotPlatter is independent and is not sponsored by the studios, streaming services, or rating organizations whose titles or names appear. See Sources & credits for source and license information and our Privacy Policy for data practices. A source acknowledgment does not grant rights beyond the applicable license.

Service limitations

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation, error-free information, or fitness for a particular purpose. We take reasonable steps to maintain the app, but technical interruptions and content errors can occur. To the extent permitted by law, Foxwood Ventures LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. These provisions do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence, and do not limit mandatory consumer rights.

Updates and questions

We may update the service and these terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel, and additional agreement will be requested where required. The effective date identifies this version. Contact us about errors, safety concerns, access problems, or your rights before relying on unclear information.
